Case prepared by Dr. Sushil Koirala (NP)
Diastema Closure
A 32 year old female presented with a fractured incisal edge on both central incisors (#11 & #21). During the consultation she mentioned her habit of biting on a pen or pencil. The smile analysis of the patient reveled prominent upper central incisors with a minor asymmetry of the incisal edges. As the defects were minor we were able to modify her smile using selective enamel contouring.
