Dr. Sonny Burias (PH)
Dr. Sonny Burias, a highly esteemed figure in the field of Esthetic Dentistry. A proud graduate of the University of the East College of Dentistry in 1992, Dr. Burias has dedicated over three decades to advancing dental practices with a focus on innovative techniques and materials. He honed his expertise through formal and hands-on training at the Kerr Sybron Research and Development Center in California and has further enriched his knowledge with a Continuing Education program at UCLA, specializing in Restorative and Prosthodontic Dentistry.
Dr. Burias is not only a practitioner but also a passionate educator, sharing his knowledge on essential concepts in Esthetic Dentistry, Precise Tooth Preparation, and Case Presentation at various national and international forums since 1998. Dr. Burias is a global advocator for MiCD (Minimally Invasive Cosmetic Dentistry) and has been involved in the MiCD movement in the Philippines since it started in 2010. He is also a Key Opinion Leader for Shofu and a founding member and Past President of the Philippine Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.
In addition to his clinical accomplishments, Dr. Burias has pioneered the Post-Graduate Esthetic Curriculum at UCLA and held significant positions within the Asian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. He is a licensed dentist, having passed the Western Regional Examination Board for California Dental Licensure in 2008. Currently, he is the owner and Esthetic Dentist at the Dental Studio Multi-Specialty Group, where he continues to make a profound impact on the field.
