Synopsis

Direct Restorations in anterior aesthetic zone are becoming more common in clinical practice today with dentist often challenging themselves to meet the patient demands while managing expectations. Dental trauma, caries, malocclusion or elective treatment based on aesthetic needs, regardless of the cause patient demands keep increasing, transforming the restorative process into a great challenge. Extreme cases require complex but predictable restorative solutions where the dentist needs to combine the art and science of modern dentistry to draw a colour map in order to reproduce all the characteristics of natural teeth and achieve the desired aesthetic outcomes.

About the Speaker

Dr. Daniel Rosa holds a degree in Dentistry from the Federal University of Brasília (UnB). He further specialized in Restorative Dentistry at the ARIA Institute. In 2003 he established his own dental practice “Daniel Rosa Restorative Dentistry Institute in Brazil.

With over 25 years of clinical expertise in recreating natural aesthetics with lifelike dental restorations Dr. Rosa continues to horn his skills with a focus on minimally invasive restorative dentistry with a particular interest in direct and indirect bonded bioactive restorations, experimenting with various techniques to provide the best possible care to his patients. He is a true believer in continuous learning and has refined his knowledge in aesthetic dentistry over the years.
