Case prepared by Dr. Melvin Sia (MY)
Multiple Diastema Closure on Lower Anterior Teeth with MiCD
40 years old female patient visited the clinic with concern of gaps between her lower front teeth. After careful intra oral examination multiple diastema in the lower anterior region was identified, caused due to a missing lower right molar tooth. As the patient had to attend an important event, direct composite restorations were selected as the treatment of choice. The MiCD concept and treatment protocol for diastema closure with a focus on preservation of tooth structure was selected using the Shofu range of bioactive composite materials for this patient to achieve the desired aesthetics.
