Clinical case of a young patient’s smile enhancement done in the upper and lower Incisor teeth in the anterior region with replacement of old composite restoration in the upper anterior tooth #11 and teeth modification with direct veneers done on the remaining upper and lower Incisors. Direct cosmetic restorations were placed adopting minimal prep technique based on the MICD restorative protocol.
Restorative Approach for the Class IV restoration on Tooth #11 was based on MiCD BioLogical Layering Technique with BEAUTIFIL II LS A2O for the deep dentin layer, BEAUTIFIL II LS A1 body shade for dentin layer and BEAUTIFIL II Enamel shades HVT for the ideal translucency. The palatal shell was created with Beautifil II LS INC shade . The Direct Veneer restorations were created with BEAUTIFIL II LS A1 and BEAUTIFIL II Enamel HVT using the free hand technique.
Meticulous finishing & polishing protocol with OneGloss Smart Polishers and Super-Snap Xtreme polishing system with Diamond polishing paste helped achieve the desired lustre to mimic natural enamel .
