Synopsis : 

Meeting patient expectations when restoring teeth in the anterior aesthetic zone is a challenge commonly faced in clinical practice. MiCD “Minimally invasive Cosmetic Dentistry” is a holistic treatment approach that integrates minimally invasive treatment protocols with aesthetic dentistry to help clincians create life-like restorations while preserving tooth structure. The introduction of newer Bioactive composite resin materials with predictable aesthetics and high polishability has provided endless possibilities for direct restorations that mimic nature with long term predictability. 

Dr. Narvekar will focus on the MiCD concept and showcase treatment protocols with in-depth case presentations for a variety of direct anterior restorations following the patient centric MiCD motto of DO NO HARM.

Since his graduation from Bharatiya VidyaPeeth Dental college, Pune in 1996, Dr. Anand has immersed himself in the field of dentistry with a special focus in aesthetic dentistry. His special interest lies in treating complex full mouth rehabilitation and smile design where management of occlusal disorders and restoration of a balanced occlusion are key components in his restorative treatment protocol.

His keen eye for aesthetics extends beyond dentistry as he is an avid and globally acclaimed photographer with his photographs published in industry wide publications - dental, auto media, wildlife, health, travel, architecture as well as in “Butterflies of India” by Issac K., 2016 Ed. He is a mentor at the leading photography forum- Photography club of India 

Dr. Anand’s dental work is reflected in leading Asian dental magazines and publications. He is an adjunct faculty at various private dental institutes, Recently completed his fellowship and a Clinical Trainer for Minimally Invasive Cosmetic Dentistry (MICD). Dr. Anand a key opinion leader and advisor for many global dental manufacturers and routinely conducts courses on various aesthetic and occlusion related techniques in India and internationally.
